2 Year Internship Program

Cedar Ranch Retreat Center is a Christian retreat center and youth summer camp ministry of Calvary Chapel Crossroads. It is a place where people come to meet with Jesus.  The Youth and Camp Ministry Internship is a two-year paid missionary program designed for young adults who feel called to serve in ministry and develop leadership within a Christian setting. Interns will gain hands-on ministry experience while receiving mentorship, spiritual development, and ministry training.

Core Program Components
•Equip interns with practical ministry skills for youth leadership and discipleship
•Provide spiritual growth opportunities through mentorship, community living, and regular theological reflection
•Strengthen leadership, communication, and organizational skills for long-term ministry success
•Prepare interns for full-time ministry, missions, or church leadership roles

Compensation and Benefits
•$500 per month plus help in raising missionary support
•On-site housing provided
•Access to ministry conferences, training workshops, and retreats
•We do not provide health insurance

Core Responsibilities
•Summer Camp staff
•Assist in planning and leading weekly youth group services and Bible studies
•Develop relationships with students through mentoring, outreach, and discipleship
•Help organize and serve at retreats, mission trips, and community service events
•Support administrative tasks and communications (social media, newsletters, logistics)
•Participate in worship services, church events, and leadership team meetings
•Engage in ministry training assignments
•Assist with daily household responsibilities including cooking, laundry, cleaning, etc.

Training and Mentorship
•Weekly Mentorship Meetings: One-on-one sessions with a pastor or ministry leader
•Monthly Leadership Trainings: Topics include teaching, discipleship, team building, event planning, and pastoral care
•Annual Evaluation: Review performance, personal growth, and ministry goals

Living Arrangements
•On-site or nearby housing provided and maintained by the ministry
•Interns expected to uphold community guidelines, accountability, and respect

Application Requirements
•Minimum Age: 18 years old
•Demonstrated interest in youth, camp or pastoral ministry
•Basic communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
•Background check and pastoral reference required
•Prior experience leading teens (volunteer or part-time counts)
